Engage | Prioritise | Act!
Over the years, I've found and collated many ideas, tools and resources that are helpful in shifting to a new ways of thinking about the world in which we live, and how we can all help to build a more inclusive, more sustainable and more enjoyable society. These are provided below, where relevant providing information that is specific to the needs of different types of actor - ie individuals, businesses, the public sector and political or civic leaders. If you know other resources that should be added, please let me know using the button opposite!

The material below is presented in three broad categories.
The great news is that a huge amount of knowledge and expertise has been built up over the last fifty years by people who are deep thinkers, profoundly practical and entrepreneurial, and who care deeply for society and the earth on which we live. I'm honoured to stand shoulder to shoulder with some of them, and grateful to be able to ride the intellectual escalator that others that have gone before us have built. My hope is that this provides a simple primer so that anyone new to these issues can absorb the most helpful ideas rapidly, navigate the huge array of material that is now available and avoid the jargon.
- First, where to start or - put another way - how to understand the problems that we're seeking to solve. This is a mix of philosophy, epistemology and frameworks for thinking, as well as some inspiration to act!
- Second, how to prioritise, set goals, and identify the team you'll need to support your initiatives. This combines both 'whole of system' perspectives by some of the world's leading thinkers with practical tools relevant for different actors.
- Third, how to act, ie to develop business cases, execute, and measure success. We have included decision-making tools and frameworks, some of which are general in nature, and some of which are specific to particular problems and/or types of actor.

These are, of their nature, big challenges which will require fundamental shifts in what people prioritise and how decisions are made, from individuals buying their groceries to national policy setting and how our global economy and society functions.
